Mindfulness@Work - Finding Calm in the Midst of Chaos

This is for you if you’re in HR, or you’re a CEO or decision-maker, and you are looking for a program that will improve the organisational culture by:

Mindful Leadership

This peak performance program is designed for leaders and managers in operational roles: business, HR, L&D, finance, sales, marketing, coaching, anyone seeking to better manage and balance their workload with their personal life. Anyone who feels they are too busy to take a day out to invest in the more important resource of their business, themselves.

Mindful Leadership is for you if you know your job on a practical, technical or intellectual level and want to hone your inner strengths, interpersonal and core leadership attitudes and skills. We integrate mindfulness with the most proven leadership material: Posner and Kouzes’ ‘The Leadership Challenge’, Relationship Awareness Theory and Non-Violent Communication. This provides a program full of insights, tools and methods for developing leadership potential.

Mindfully Leading from the Middle

This program is for the person managing up, down and sideways. Building further on the foundations of mindfulness, the program focuses on increasing interpersonal skills, and creating accountability and team power, while strengthening participants’ ability to deal with conflict.

We integrate mindfulness with the most proven leadership material: Posner and Kouzes’ ‘The Leadership Challenge’, work by John Maxwell, Peter Senge, Stephen Covey, Relationship Awareness Theory and Non-Violent Communication. This provides a program full of insights, tools and methods for developing leadership potential while enhancing the ability to navigate the challenging space of leading from the middle.

Inclusive Teams - The Mindful Way

This program is for teams that would like to maximise their potential. From the latest neuroscience we know that integration is a universal indicator of health, hence healthy teams are integrated and inclusive teams. We draw on the Google’s extensive research on teams, we use mindfulness, and we use the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI). The SDI is a learning model for identifying and understanding the motivation behind behaviour, both when things are going well and when we experience conflict. The SDI experience enables a deeper understanding of how motives shape behaviour, and the powerful effect this understanding has on the way people work, think and communicate, especially when conflict arises. This leads us to become more curious and able to leverage our differences rather than being frustrated by them, providing excellent insight for members of teams.

The Accidental Mediator

This is for you if you know that sometimes you don’t deal very well with difficult situations. It is for professionals to gain the confidence and tools for addressing conflict and for engaging in the difficult conversations in due time and in an appropriate way.

Learning objectives include:

  • Having a clear understanding of what conflict is and how it affects us
  • Having skills for calming yourself and others down, and know why this is essential
  • Being able to identify what keeps you from having those difficult conversations and learning a technique to overcome those challenges
  • Having skills for a difficult conversation
